When it comes to Affiliate Marketing there’s an awful lot of myths floating around out there. Let’s have a look at what I think are three of the main affiliate marketing myths that need to be debunked.
Affiliate Marketing Is a Thing of The Past
Because of Google’s changing algorithms for SEO, link building is outdated which means Affiliate Marketing is a thing of the past. Even though link building is not as useful as it once was, there are many, many ways that you can use SEO for, to create your brand and strengthen it.
Sure you might come across a few little problems with Google if you aren’t managing your program properly, but overall the entire idea of Affiliate Marketing will instill a presence with your website, your customers and to Google. After all, your site provides another source for relevant related information for consumers. This is what Google loves the most these days!
Managing Affiliate Systems Is Quick and Easy
As most of us already know and contrary to what you might have been told, Affiliate Marketing is not a get rich overnight business. Then again what is? Affiliate Marketing requires you to invest your time and energy into whatever niche you have chosen to pursue.

Yes, it’s true, the more popular niches do better when it comes to Affiliate Marketing, however, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy success. Stay true to the goals of your business, find affiliates who understand the importance of your market, and make sure you are comfortable with the affiliate you are considering.
